There are several quarries in the Valtura area. The limestone of the same name, which is quarried here, is used for lining the interior and exterior surfaces. The town has a Neo-Gothic church of St. John (from 1899), whose twenty-eight-meter bell tower is uniquely built in the shape of an octagon. Right in Valtura, surrounded by beautiful nature and a few holiday homes, this stone complex for adaptation is located and is looking for a new owner.
