ISTRIA, MARČANA - A stone house in a secluded location near the sea Marčana is a municipality in the southeast of the Istrian peninsula. It is located about 12 km northeast of Pula, the largest city in Istria. It is known as a destination for the sea, holidays, wine and olive oil. It is a culturally rich settlement with crystal clear sea and an almost unreal landscape consisting of luxurious bays and green peninsulas. Its 36 kilometers of coastline are the least urbanized coastal zone in Istria. Marčana and its fertile green fields, with gentle hills that descend to hidden rocky coves and self-contained villages and towns are the undiscovered treasures of the eastern coast of Istria. In one of the settlements of the Marčana municipality, a stone house in a secluded location near the sea is for sale. It is located not far from the center of the town and yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle, relieved of every hectic effort, in an isolated piece of paradise with a view of the sea and the surrounding area. On a spacious plot of land, which is enclosed by an Istrian dry stone wall and enriched with olive, fig, walnut and grapevine trees, there is a house, a swimming pool and a kažun (a hut) that serves as a storage room. The old stone house has been renovated in the Istrian spirit. Along the stone path that connects the house with the swimming pool and the lounge area covered by a pergola, Greek columns with oak arches have been placed as a vertical component. This rarity on the market is an ideal opportunity for an idyllic family life as well as for an investment for the purpose of tourist rental.
