Ždrelac is a settlement on Pašman, one of the islands of the Zadar archipelago, which is connected to Biograd by a ferry line. It developed around the church of St. Luke and expanded into several coves and hills, including a new settlement near the bridge.
It is named after the narrow passage at its end, Ždrilo, which separates the island of Pašman from the island of Ugljan. Ždrelac is located at the intersection of maritime routes for excursions to the surrounding islands and the Kornati archipelago. It is an attractive destination for sailors and water sports enthusiasts.
A 210-meter-long bridge was built in 1973 over the strait that separates the islands of Ugljan and Pašman, along which there is a large weekend settlement. The spacious cove by the strait is an anchorage for numerous yachts on their way from the mainland to Kornati.
The economic basis is agriculture, viticulture, olive growing, fishing, and tourism. It is located on a regional road.
