Beaches The island of Silba is adorned with a truly diverse range of beaches. The good news is that all of them can be reached in less than an hour's walk, but tourists can also rent a taxi boat that can take them to more distant, and therefore more secluded, beaches. The main town beach is Šotorišće - a concrete beach with sand in the water that gives the appearance of tropical seas. On the north-western side of the island of Silba, the most famous and most visited beaches are Pocukmarko, Žalić, Tratica and Carpusina. A little further away are the small bay of Loišće, the sandy Pernastica and Vela Smrdeća (already on the northern part of the island).
