Known for its shipbuilders, Barbat is a favorite destination for boaters, and for those who are more interested in land, Barbat offers the possibility of a trip to the early Christian military fort on the hill of St. Damjana. Barbat has its own holiday called "Karmenica", which is celebrated on July 16 with a rich gastronomic offer. It is connected to the town of Rab by a six-kilometer coastal promenade, ideal for morning bike rides or jogging if you are a fan of this type of sports activity.
